Pizza inn was born in 1998 from a simple dream — to bring authentic, bold-flavored pizza to the heart of United States. Founded in Dunn, North Carolina, our first kitchen was tiny, but the flavors were anything but. 1998
The First Oven Fires Up

Marco Ricci opens Pizza inn at 1138 W Broad St, Dunn, NC with a single stone oven, a handful of recipes, and a big dream to bring bold, authentic pizza to the community.

2003
Community Recognition

Pizza inn earns its first "Best Pizza in Dunn" award from the local chamber of commerce. Word spreads fast and we welcome our 100,000th customer.

2009
Menu Expansion

We introduce our signature specialty pizzas, craft pastas, and house-made desserts. The expanded menu reflects our chefs' growing creativity and customers' adventurous palates.

2014
Full Renovation & Expansion

Pizza inn undergoes a major renovation, doubling the dining room capacity and adding a dedicated events space for private parties and catering services.

2019
Online Ordering Launches

We launch our digital ordering platform, making it easier than ever to enjoy Pizza inn at home. Online orders account for 40% of revenue within the first year.
